Numbers Change T-Shirt & Landis Change Donation Event Promotion

Description: Global Peace Exchange is a student founded and run non-profit begun at Florida State University. In 2008, GPE took a team of 20 volunteers to Rwanda to help build an IT school and teach English. As a volunteer, it was our duty to raise money for the trip. As part of my contribution, I designed a t-shirt to raise awareness about Africa as well as raise money.
The shirts were sold along with buttons I designed during a week long event GPE held on Landis Green at Florida State University where change donations were taken and information distributed. To help promote the event, I also designed posters which were hung around campus.
Shirts were printed on black American Apparel t-shirts and sold for $20. Sold over 250 shirts in 2 weeks raising over $4,000 in profits for GPE. GPE continues to use these shirts as a fundraiser and promotion tool for the organization.
